Vlassarou, the neighbourhood of his grandfather around the Temple of Hephaistus, about 1930, demolished since for archaeological excavations
The neighbourhood of Alkis’s grandfather Nikolaos Raftis, who had a bakery at nearby Hephaistos Street. All houses were demolished in the 1930s for the archeological excavations. His house was located at the far left of the picture, half way between the Temple of Hepaistos and the Stoa of Attalos.
